It's a Boy!

We have waited a long 5 months to find out the sex of our baby. Finally at the doctor today we got a good look at our little baby BOY! He was very active and almost wouldn't sit still for us to find out. We are very excited and are trying to decide on a name but it is a lot harder than you think.

This is a picture of his little face...he is laying
on his side facing the camera with his arm
under his chin

This is a picture of his profile

This is another profile picture of him rubbing
his nose with his right arm

And this is the picture that told us what he is!
It is a view from underneath him with his bottom
and back of his thighs facing the camera.

Jacobson Wedding!

It is definitely the season for weddings already as this was the first of three we have over the next few weeks. Angela is a friend of mine from work who met her husband Kirby in high school and then went to Tech together. They got married at a really cool venue in Dallas that was sort of a warehouse with a view of down town. It was a beautiful day and everything turned out perfect for them.

Goodbye hot tub!

Craigs list has been really good to us lately when getting rid of things such as the boat, bedroom furniture, the freezer and now our hot tub. We enjoyed having the hot tub, but it took up so much room and now that I am pregnant I can't use it. We decided to change the space into an area that we could sit by our firepit and enjoy the nice weather we have been having.

Bo is always a good helper...

Tommy did all the hard lifting

Planting to pass the time...

There isn't much I can do to help out with yard work and lifting at 5 months pregnant, but I knew I wanted to plant something small I could take care of. So we went to Home Depot and bought tomato and jalepeno plants. So far they have both grown so much and I think the jalepeno plant is about to sprout some peppers!

Tommy also planted a ton of rose bushes in the back (because that is the only thing Riley won't eat). This is our first rose of the Spring!

Easter Weekend!

We started out our Easter weekend bright and early with a garage sale at our house with Chels, who was late and was a big crybaby about her eyes all day! We were able to get rid of a lot of junk though and made room for our new patio furniture. The weather is finally perfect for sitting outside, so we will get a lot of use out of it.

On Easter morning before church we hid eggs for our dogs, Bo and Riley. They LOVE Easter egg hunting! Ever since we started this with Bo when he was little and then brought Riley into it when she came along, they get really excited when they see the eggs.

Riley was proud of her egg!
