Journey from Ohio...

Tommy's grandparents came all the way to Texas from Ohio this past week to visit and meet Brock for the first time. They packed a whole lot of Texas into one week with a trip to the hill country and trying just about every fried food we have to offer - fried okra, fried pickles, fried jalapenos...

I hope they had a great time and I was glad to finally get a picture of all four Henricks boys!

Driving Me Crazy!

There are times where Punky literally drives me crazy...but then he does something cute and I forget all about it! His personality is showing more and more lately and I can tell he is going to be a handful. I can't get enough of his little smile though!

More House Updates!!

Even though it's been raining a lot lately, they still got quite a bit done in the one day they worked last week. It looks completely different with cabinets now because you can actually tell it's a kitchen. Hopefully only 3 weeks to go!!!

A Wonderful First Mother's Day!!!

I still can't believe I am celebrating things like Mother's Day! It's such a weird feeling to be a mom, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I love my little Punky more than I ever would have imagined and I feel so blessed to have such a happy, healthy little guy. It is such a great feeling to know that someone depends on you so much and loves having you around :)

I had a great first Mother's Day. I got breakfast in bed and didn't even have to do the cleanup afterwards! :)My little Brocky is quite the cook. After we all got ready I got a surprise trip to my all time favorite place - the ZOO! And I think Tommy and Brock enjoyed it just a little :)

Some Saturday Splashin'

My boys were the only ones brave enough to get in the cold water. I stay either on the side or just put my feet in to take a few pics :) It was super cold! But Brock had a good time splashing around anyway!

Surprises for Mommy!

I picked Brocky up from daycare on Friday and I had a couple of surprises waiting for me. He had made me a Mother's Day magnet of us that had flowers made of his fingerprints...so cute!He also mixed up some really cute bath salts all by himself! :) But the cutest surprise was his new hairdo! Apparently half of his mashed potatoes that day made it into his hair so they had to bathe him...which ended up in a much deserved mohawk! He wasn't happy to say the least!

A Huge Mess :)

We gave Brock rice for the first time a couple days ago to see how well he could pick it up. He did alright, but it was too tiny for him to pick it up with his fingers so he just started shoveling it to his mouth. Only about a third of it made it in and the rest was everywhere as you can see...

House Update!

We are so excited to see the progress each week on our house! It's crazy to see it one day and then the next it is covered in bricks! We can't wait to see what gets done this week so stay tuned...

I decided Brock was getting old enough to help Mommy bake cookies...not such a good idea! He was in to everything and ended up eating or crushing half of what we made! He was so adorable though being Mommy's little chef.
